          History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi is a manga created by Syun Matsuena.

          It was published in Weekly Shonen Sunday by Shogakukan starting August 9, 2002 and ended September 17, 2014. An anime adaptation was made by studio TMS Entertainment, directed by Hajime Kamegaki and aired on TV Tokyo starting October 7, 2006 and ended September 29, 2007.

          An OVA was made by Brain’s Base studio, written by Eizo Kobayashi, directed by Hiroshi Ishiodori and was released starting March 14, 2012 and ended May 16, 2014.

          History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi Plot:

          Kenichi Shirahama is a 16 year old student who has been bullied ever since he was a child.

          He meets Miu Furinji who brings him to her dojo, the Ryozanpaku, led by her grandfather, Hayato Furinji, and houses several martial arts masters. Kenichi desires to become stronger so he learns martial arts basics from Miu. Kenichi beats a high-ranking member of his school’s sports
