David Postman is a Democratic political advisor in the state of Washington.
He is the former chief of staff for Gov. Jay Inslee (D), serving from December 2015 to November 2020.[1][2]

Journalism
From 1981 to 2008, Postman worked as a reporter in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington, serving as the chief political reporter for The Seattle Times from 1994 to 2008.[3][4]

From 2008 to 2012, Postman served as the senior communications director for Vulcan, Inc., a company founded in 1982 by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.
