          Gabriela Mistral was a famous Chilean Poet-Diplomat, Catholic, and Educator.

          She was born on 7 April 1889 in Vicuña, Chile. She died in January 1957 at the age of 67 years in Hempstead, New York. She was awarded for her notable works in literature with the Nobel Prize in 1945. Gabriela’s poems are so interesting that Suman Pokhrel translated them into Nepali.
